Kindred Spirits

One of my dearest friends, Anna Lisa, came to the beach from Texas for a family vacation!  We have not seen each other for at least 10 years- what a treat!!!  She is still, of course, completely beautiful (no wonder Mike Zaharis asked her out :)!  I have a feeling this will be one of the perks of living in a vacation destination- woo hoo!!

Pizza on the beach!
Our collective offspring! (Anna has 4 girls, we have begun the matchmaking process)
Jacob as a sea monster!  Scary.  And gross.

Kara you are hilarious. I did a google blog search to see if my blog would show up and this entry popped up. Anna Lisa probably thinks you are lame for the comment but pretty funny. You are right she is still beautiful and that is why I asked her out. Take care guys. So funny.

I know that row of beach houses in the background! That's our favorite spot! It's nice to see you have other friends besides us...I don't want you to pine away for us too bad.
p.s. The Jacob covered in seaweed thing is horribly nasty!
still miss you,
Ang

Kara,
What an amazing day on the beach, not unlike our last visit there with you and Jason just 17 years ago. Same beach babe bodies for sure! (even Mike Z. can attest to that now). I seriously want to move out there after our vacation...sooo glad we got the chance to get together. Makes me sad we're so far apart though.

Saw your comment on Melissa's. Looks like all is well and you look great, the same if not better. We lived in Cali for a year and it was an absolute blast. rock on

I have been looking for you since you picked me up at the airport like 12 years ago! I am sooooo happy to hear from you. Aren't blogs great? What part of Cali are you living in. We are going there in 3 weeks, we have to hook up. Your family is so cute. And I can't believe little Jarom (piggy movie little boy), the one who fell in my parking lot when we lived downtown is 15. That means you are really old. Email me and tell me more about your life. engens@msn.com

I could have sworn I already commented on this post - maybe blogger was down. . . so jealous you girls got together! I'm thinking a girl's weekend somewhere in between is in order.
